These two pieces were originally done back in the fall as posters for the Montreal-based band Folly and the Hunter (you should definitely check them out!). They ended up using them as art for their new album Tragic Care, which came out this spring! Pretty cool, no?
A short film I did for class– first time working in After Effects. I really enjoyed it (although I had a time rendering…grrrr…); you can do so much in that program! There are a few problems with the camera movement, but not bad as first-tries go, right?
This is based on the fairytale “The Buried Moon”, in which the moon is trapped in a spooky swamp.
Here’s a little animation that I did as part of a class assignment. Man, so much respect for actual animators– this little girl required some serious brain power. She’s supposed to be the moon, personified.
